Reading to your child will also help.

Museum Trip

We went to the museum. We got to dress up as if we were coming to New Zealand on the Strathallan and to go into a model of the cabins. We also got to dress up as insects and to look at some insects under a special microscope.

Seaweek Mural

We enjoyed sharing our knowledge of the undersea world. We made a mural to show what we know. We hung the mural from an umbrella so that we could get inside it as if we were under the water.

Lost Property

You might be amazed at how much un-named lost property builds up at school.

If the clothes etc are named then we can return them to the correct person although we can't always make sure they take them home in spite of all our efforts!

Here is what usually happens to un-named property.

1. It is held up to the class to see if anyone claims it.
2. It is put into the blue plastic basket by the front door of the class.
3. Once a week that basket is emptied into the lost property basket in Room 8.

Please feel free to pop in and try and reclaim your property and please name everything!!

Thanks

Mrs Roxburgh
